Our client is a major international private equity fund.  The fund invests across a number of sectors and can make investments in both early and later stage companies.     

They are now looking to add an investment manager to their team, within their lifesciences/ healthcare/ pharma group.

The position will work on the origination, execution and portfolio management of investments for the fund and be part of one of the most successful teams in the business.  

They are looking for someone who will have a background as follows:

- investment manager from another VC or private equity firm

- investment banker professional

- strategy consultant from a firm such as McKinsey

- chartered accountant

- almost certainly you will have both an academic background in lifesciences, natural sciences, medicine or similar, quite possibly a qualified doctor

- you will also have professional advisory, consulting or investment experience in a relevant sector
